Costco Wholesale is currently hiring a Stocker in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This role focuses on maintaining well-organized product displays, stocking merchandise, and ensuring warehouse aisles remain clean and accessible for members. As part of the warehouse team, the Stocker helps keep shelves fully stocked while delivering the excellent member service Costco is known for.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Stocker position at Costco plays an important role in maintaining product availability throughout the warehouse. Team members ensure merchandise is properly stocked, organized, and displayed according to company merchandising standards.
This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment. Stockers also help maintain a clean and safe sales floor while supporting members by answering questions and assisting them in locating products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stock and organize warehouse merchandise to maintain full product availability.
- Align and straighten products while following Costco merchandising standards.
- Collect and return stray items to the appropriate department.
- Open boxes, prepare products, and place items on shelves or displays.
- Move and position pallets using manual pallet jacks and other equipment when necessary.
- Assist in building and maintaining product displays and promotional setups.
- Use marking tools to label merchandise and ensure accurate product identification.
- Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and debris to maintain a clean warehouse environment.
- Operate cardboard balers or trash compactors following safety procedures.
- Assist members by directing them to products and helping with large item loading when needed.
