ABOUT THE JOB
As an Overnight Associate at Walmart, you’ll complete assigned tasks that help the store stay stocked, organized, and ready for customers each day. Overnight work often includes moving merchandise, placing product in the correct locations, and setting up signed features while maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment.
This position emphasizes accuracy and efficiency, especially around labeling, placing merchandise in backroom bins, and supporting overnight processing. You’ll work as part of a team to meet operational goals based on workload and store priorities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare the salesfloor for store opening by completing assigned overnight tasks.
- Set up features, including merchandising and signing to support store standards.
- Support receiving by helping with tasks such as unloading trailers and processing merchandise flow.
- Pull pallets of merchandise to and from the salesfloor for overnight processing.
- Stock merchandise as assigned and assist with customer service when needed.
- Label and place merchandise accurately, including organizing product in backroom bins/stocking areas.
- Help ensure aisles, work zones, and backroom areas remain clean, safe, and organized.
- Follow company policies, complete safety sweep logs, and ensure fixtures/displays are secure.
