ABOUT THE JOB
The Stock Unloader Associate plays an important role in keeping store operations running efficiently. This position focuses on receiving deliveries, unloading trailers, and ensuring merchandise is moved safely from receiving areas to the sales floor.
Associates help maintain accurate inventory levels, follow safety procedures, and contribute to a clean and organized store environment. The role may also involve supporting other departments by helping with stocking tasks and assisting customers when needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Unload delivery trailers and sort merchandise for processing and stocking.
- Prepare and organize the receiving area to ensure efficient operations.
- Move pallets and merchandise safely from receiving to the sales floor or storage areas.
- Assist with stocking shelves and replenishing products as required.
- Help maintain proper handling procedures for refrigerated and frozen goods.
- Label, organize, and manage overstock inventory.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment by following company policies.
- Provide basic customer assistance when required on the sales floor.
