Costco is hiring an Electronics Sales Assistant in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. In this customer-facing role, you’ll support members in the electronics and major appliance area by answering questions, demonstrating products, and keeping displays organized and well-stocked.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Electronics Sales Assistant helps drive an excellent shopping experience by assisting members with product information, maintaining attractive merchandising standards, and ensuring the department is clean and organized. You’ll stay up to date on technology trends, collaborate with department leadership on inventory and pricing activities, and help keep high-value items secure while supporting daily sales-floor operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide prompt, courteous member service by answering questions and explaining product features.
- Demonstrate merchandise and assist members with selecting electronics and major appliances.
- Help members with loading products into carts when needed.
- Maintain knowledge of technology and sales trends by reading product information and department materials.
- Support merchandising by stocking shelves, aligning and facing product, and maintaining displays.
- Assist with pricing, signage, and marking accuracy according to Costco standards.
- Participate in merchandise moves and coordinate with forklift drivers for stocking support as required.
- Help maintain a safe area by clearing debris, supporting security lock-up processes, and keeping the sales floor tidy.
- Assist in other warehouse areas as needed.
