ABOUT THE JOB
The Electronics/Majors Sales Assistant helps deliver a strong member experience by providing product information, supporting merchandising standards, and ensuring items are displayed correctly and kept in excellent condition. You’ll stay informed on product features and trends, assist with loading items, and coordinate with the Area Manager regarding stock status and merchandising needs. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys customer-facing work and can thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide prompt, courteous member service by answering questions and explaining product features.
- Demonstrate products and assist members in selecting items in electronics and major appliances.
- Help members with loading merchandise into carts when needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge by reviewing product information, literature, and department updates.
- Support merchandising standards by setting up, cleaning, and maintaining product displays.
- Align and face merchandise, restock items, and return stray products to the correct locations.
- Check product signage and ensure pricing accuracy and proper marking.
- Assist with merchandising moves and coordinate items for stocking, including preparing goods for forklift drivers.
- Support security processes, including organizing lock-up items and keeping the area tidy.
- Assist in other warehouse departments as needed.
