ABOUT THE JOB
The Electronics Sales Assistant is responsible for assisting members with product selection in the electronics and major appliances areas. The role involves answering questions, demonstrating merchandise features, and ensuring the department remains organized and fully stocked. Team members help maintain Costco’s merchandising standards while delivering knowledgeable and courteous service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide prompt and professional member service by answering questions and explaining product features.
- Demonstrate electronics and appliances to help members make informed purchasing decisions.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge on current technology and department offerings.
- Set up, clean, and maintain merchandise displays according to company standards.
- Stock shelves, organize inventory, and ensure products are properly labeled and priced.
- Assist with merchandise moves and coordinate with forklift drivers for product placement.
- Support inventory checks and report damaged or missing items.
- Maintain a clean and safe sales floor, including securing high-value merchandise.
- Assist in other warehouse areas as required.
