ABOUT THE JOB
The Bakery Wrapper is responsible for wrapping, labeling, and stocking baked goods produced in the warehouse bakery. This role ensures that all items meet quality control standards, are accurately weighed and priced, and are displayed attractively for members.
Team members follow established food safety procedures, rotate stock appropriately, and maintain a clean and organized bakery area. The position requires attention to detail, consistency, and a strong commitment to food safety compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wrap and package baked goods manually or using wrapping equipment according to production standards.
- Weigh, label, and price bakery products to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Apply garnishes, icing, or glaze following approved recipes and procedures.
- Stock and rotate products while monitoring expiry dates and freshness.
- Move bakery items using carts or racks and organize displays for optimal presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bakery and sales floor area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide courteous member service and direct members to product locations when needed.
- Assist with additional warehouse duties as required.
