ABOUT THE JOB
The Tire Centre Sales Assistant is responsible for assisting members with selecting and purchasing tires, coordinating service appointments, and supporting daily operations within the Tire Centre. This position combines customer service, sales support, and administrative duties to ensure a smooth and professional experience for Costco members.
The role involves processing transactions, preparing invoices, organizing tire inventory, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the department. In locations offering propane services, certified employees may also assist with propane refills in accordance with safety regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist members in identifying appropriate tires and provide product recommendations based on vehicle needs.
- Create and process tire purchase and service invoices, including handling payments and issuing receipts.
- Schedule and manage service appointments while responding promptly to phone and in-person inquiries.
- Stock, tag, and organize tire inventory on the sales floor following merchandising standards.
- Coordinate special orders and communicate with internal departments regarding order status and delivery timelines.
- Support the service team by assisting with vehicle movement and maintaining staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and safe Tire Centre by following Costco safety procedures at all times.
- Provide additional warehouse support as needed.
