ABOUT THE JOB
The Over-the-Counter Associate assists customers with product inquiries, supports the Pharmacy team, and maintains organized and well-stocked shelves in the OTC area. This position focuses on delivering outstanding service while following privacy regulations, merchandising standards, and departmental procedures.
You will work closely with the Pharmacy Manager and department leadership to help drive sales, ensure accurate pricing, and maintain a clean and safe shopping environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer assistance in the OTC department.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all applicable privacy regulations.
- Zone and organize shelves to ensure products are properly displayed and accessible.
- Rotate stock and check for expired merchandise to maintain compliance and safety.
- Follow procedures for ordering, pricing, markdowns, and signage.
- Maintain accurate pricing and support scanning accuracy initiatives.
- Keep the department clean, organized, and free of hazards or debris.
- Support sales goals under the direction of department leadership.
- Assist with equipment calibration and operational support in the prescription filling process when required.
