ABOUT THE JOB
The Produce Stocker is responsible for zoning, stocking, and maintaining fresh produce displays to ensure products are properly rotated, priced, and presented. This position follows food safety, cold chain compliance, and health & safety standards while supporting daily department operations. Team members help create a positive shopping experience by ensuring freshness, cleanliness, and availability of merchandise.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Zone and organize the produce department to maintain an appealing presentation.
- Rotate stock and inspect products to ensure freshness and quality standards.
- Ensure merchandise is properly signed, labelled, and priced.
- Follow food safety and cold chain compliance procedures, including temperature checks and product rotation.
- Support ordering, markdowns, and pricing adjustments as required.
- Keep the department fully stocked and ready for customers throughout the day.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with unloading deliveries and stocking merchandise.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the produce area.
- Availability for weekend shifts may be required.
