ABOUT THE JOB
The Tire Centre Sales Assistant helps members select the right tires and automotive services based on their needs. You will handle sales transactions, schedule service appointments, prepare invoices, and ensure the sales floor is organized and well-stocked. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow Costco’s safety and operational procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist members in identifying appropriate tires and provide product recommendations based on vehicle needs.
- Create tire purchase and service invoices and process payments accurately.
- Schedule and manage service appointments, including special orders and installations.
- Stock, tag, and organize tires on the sales floor according to merchandising standards.
- Coordinate with the installation team to ensure timely service completion.
- Handle incoming calls, answer inquiries, and provide price quotes.
- Maintain a clean and organized Tire Centre area.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines, including propane services where applicable and certified.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed.
