Costco is hiring an Electronics/Majors Sales Assistant in Surrey, BC. This customer-facing role supports the electronics and major appliances areas by assisting members, demonstrating products, and keeping merchandise organized and ready for sale.
ABOUT THE JOB
As an Electronics/Majors Sales Assistant at Costco, you’ll help members find the right products by answering questions, explaining features, and providing a positive shopping experience. You will also support day-to-day merchandising tasks such as maintaining displays, stocking items, and ensuring accurate product signage. This position combines sales support, product knowledge, and strong member service in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver prompt, courteous member service by answering questions and assisting with product selection.
- Demonstrate merchandise and explain product features, functions, and specifications.
- Assist members with loading products onto carts when needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology and product trends by reviewing product information and materials.
- Communicate with department leadership about inventory levels, pricing, delivery, and promotions.
- Follow merchandising standards: set up, clean, and maintain displays, align product, and face items to the front.
- Collect and return stray items; stock merchandise to support high product availability.
- Check and update product signage, ensuring accuracy of pricing and marking.
- Support merchandise moves and coordinate product placement for stocking activities.
- Help maintain security procedures for high-value items and keep the sales floor clean and safe.
- Assist in other warehouse areas as necessary.
