ABOUT THE JOB
As a Cashier, you will provide an excellent checkout experience by processing purchases efficiently, supporting customers with bagging and loading, and maintaining a clean and organized register area. You’ll also follow store procedures related to cash handling, register security, and loss prevention while promoting Walmart programs and services when needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting throughout the checkout process.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including required item handling procedures.
- Support customers with bagging and loading merchandise when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe checkout area by following store standards.
- Follow cash handling and register security practices to protect company assets.
- Promote Walmart programs and services such as credit offerings, customer service options, and other in-store initiatives when applicable.
- Escalate customer concerns and refer appropriate items to a supervisor or Customer Service Manager when required.
