Walmart Canada is hiring an experienced OMNI Department Manager in Quebec City, QC. This leadership role supports the store’s online grocery and e-commerce operations, ensuring smooth order fulfillment, team coordination, and excellent customer service.
ABOUT THE JOB
As an OMNI Department Manager, you will oversee daily online order processes, support OMNI Associates, and help drive operational efficiency across Walmart’s digital fulfillment activities. This position involves coordinating order flow, reviewing performance metrics, and maintaining high standards in back-office organization, staging, and service execution. You will also play a key role in training and developing team members while ensuring a clean, safe, and productive work environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the training and development of OMNI Associates.
- Review and manage online order reports, including daily order summaries, payment exceptions, and pick confirmations.
- Oversee back-office setup, staging whiteboards, handheld devices, printers, and related equipment.
- Monitor workload distribution and adjust staffing or priorities to meet operational demands.
- Ensure completion of daily picks and post-pick tasks, including cleaning service stations and maintaining e-commerce cleanliness standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure the back office is prepared for the next day’s operations.
- Lead by example by delivering excellent customer service and supporting customers with product inquiries and purchase decisions.
