Walmart Canada is hiring a Consumables Associate in Quebec City, QC. This role supports daily store operations by keeping essential consumable merchandise well-stocked, organized, and easy for customers to find—while delivering friendly, helpful service on the salesfloor.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Consumables Associate, you will help maintain strong product availability across high-traffic departments by stocking shelves, rotating inventory, and supporting in-store presentation. You’ll also assist customers with locating items, handle basic claims/returns processes when required, and follow safety and merchandising standards to keep the store environment clean and compliant.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and helping locate products.
- Stock, process, and replenish consumable merchandise from the backroom to the salesfloor.
- Maintain strong salesfloor presentation by rotating items, removing damaged/out-of-date products, and setting accurate signage and pricing.
- Support claims and returns activities as needed, ensuring required documentation is completed properly.
- Use equipment safely and follow company procedures to maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
- Set and complete modulars (including flex modulars) and support shelf-cap updates when required.
- Assist with product protection practices when necessary.
