Walmart Canada is hiring a Stock Unloader Associate in Montreal, QC. This hands-on role supports the receiving process by unloading trailers, moving freight safely, and helping keep the store organized and ready for customers in a fast-paced retail environment.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Stock Unloader Associate at Walmart, you’ll help manage incoming merchandise by preparing the receiving area, unloading and sorting freight, and moving pallets to the appropriate locations. You’ll also support store operations by keeping work areas safe and clean, maintaining product handling standards (including cold chain requirements), and assisting with stocking tasks when needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and reset the receiving area to support daily unloading operations.
- Unload and sort merchandise from trailers, following safe handling procedures.
- Complete unloading of remaining freight and help keep the flow of merchandise organized.
- Maintain cold chain standards for refrigerated and frozen items during receiving and stocking.
- Pull pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing and replenishment.
- Assist with stocking tasks as assigned and provide customer service when needed.
- Label and place overstock merchandise according to store processes.
- Promote a safe workplace by following company policies, completing safety checks/logs, and ensuring fixtures and displays are secure.
