Walmart is hiring a Produce Stocker in Mississauga, Ontario. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, keeping shelves organized, and supporting a clean, well-stocked fresh produce department to deliver a great shopping experience for customers.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Produce Stocker at Walmart, you’ll help ensure the produce area is fully stocked, properly rotated, and ready for business. You’ll follow store standards for product rotation, pricing and signage, food handling, and sanitation—helping maintain freshness and quality for customers.
You’ll also support cold chain practices (where required), complete routine checks, and keep the department looking clean, organized, and easy to shop.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Zone and maintain the produce department to keep it organized and customer-ready.
- Rotate stock and check for expired or dated products to support freshness.
- Ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced.
- Follow standards for cold chain compliance, temperature recording, and related procedures when applicable.
- Follow food safety, food handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
- Support proper processes for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and labeling/signing as needed.
- Keep the department fully stocked and ready for peak shopping periods.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
