ABOUT THE JOB
As a Tire Centre Sales Assistant at Costco, you will assist members in selecting the right tires for their vehicles, prepare service invoices, and coordinate appointments. This position combines customer service, sales support, and operational tasks to ensure smooth Tire Centre operations. You will follow established safety procedures and merchandising plans while delivering professional and courteous member service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist members in determining tire needs and recommending suitable products.
- Provide accurate price quotes and create purchase and service invoices.
- Manage incoming calls, book appointments, and respond to member inquiries.
- Process transactions, including cash handling and payment processing.
- Organize and tag tires on the sales floor according to merchandising standards.
- Coordinate special orders and communicate with internal departments regarding inventory and delivery status.
- Support service operations by assisting with vehicle intake and staging when required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Assist with propane services where applicable and certified.
- Help in other warehouse areas as needed.
