ABOUT THE JOB
As an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate at Walmart, you will assemble customer orders from different temperature zones (ambient, chilled, and frozen) and ensure every item meets quality expectations. You’ll verify correct products and quantities, label orders properly, and complete required documentation. This position also involves working safely, keeping a clean workspace, and supporting continuous improvement in fulfillment processes to ensure orders are completed on time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pick and assemble online orders efficiently from multiple temperature-controlled areas.
- Pack orders accurately by confirming product, quantity, and item codes.
- Ensure items meet quality standards (e.g., correct selection, no damage, freshness).
- Complete required labels and documentation such as pick slips and shipping labels.
- Optimize tote filling and packing to maintain product integrity and space efficiency.
- Balance fulfillment duties with direct customer interaction and service recovery when needed.
- Follow strict safety and food hygiene practices, including immediate spill clean-up.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and complete pre-use checks as required.
- Support continuous improvement by suggesting process updates and adapting to daily priorities.
