Costco is hiring a Service Deli Clerk in Laval, QC. This role supports the Service Deli department by preparing, packaging, and labeling fresh food items while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and member service.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Service Deli Clerk at Costco, you will prepare a variety of ready-to-eat products including salads, entrees, party trays, rotisserie items, and take-and-bake pizzas. You’ll follow department production standards, monitor temperatures and product quality, and ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and assemble deli products such as salads, entrees, party trays, pizzas, and rotisserie items.
- Slice vegetables and garnish prepared foods according to department standards.
- Cook and bake products using commercial ovens and rotisserie equipment.
- Package, wrap, weigh, and label items accurately using wrapping machines and scales.
- Stock and rotate display cases, ensuring freshness and compliance with pull dates and food safety guidelines.
- Monitor food temperatures and maintain consistency and quality standards.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, sinks, prep areas, and tools following established sanitation procedures.
- Operate trash compactors and cardboard balers when required.
- Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
- Provide prompt and courteous member assistance and support other department tasks as needed.
