Walmart is hiring an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate in Kitchener, ON. In this role, you’ll help deliver a great online shopping experience by picking, packing, and preparing customer orders with a strong focus on accuracy, food safety, and on-time fulfillment.
ABOUT THE JOB
As an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate at Walmart, you will assemble online orders from different store areas (including temperature-controlled zones) while following strict food hygiene and quality standards. You’ll ensure items are selected carefully, packed efficiently, and labeled correctly, supporting a smooth “On Time” delivery process and positive customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pick and assemble customer orders from various store areas while maintaining product quality and accuracy.
- Pack orders with attention to detail, confirming correct items, quantities, and product codes.
- Ensure selected products meet quality standards (freshness, no damage, appropriate substitutions when applicable).
- Label and document orders correctly, including pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels.
- Optimize packing to protect items and use space efficiently while meeting product handling standards.
- Balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer support, helping resolve issues when needed.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic workspace and follow food safety and handling procedures.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and complete required safety checks before use.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting productivity, efficiency, and service quality initiatives.
