ABOUT THE JOB
As a Baker at Costco, you will prepare and bake a variety of products according to established formulas and production schedules. The role includes measuring and combining ingredients, operating industrial mixers and ovens, and monitoring baking times to maintain product consistency. You’ll also follow sanitation, temperature control, and quality procedures to ensure all items meet department standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Measure, mix, and prepare large quantities of ingredients using approved Costco formulas.
- Operate commercial bakery equipment such as mixers, dough rollers, and ovens.
- Shape, portion, and prepare dough for breads and pastries.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure product quality.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized bakery production area.
- Provide courteous member service when required.
- Assist in other warehouse areas as needed.
