ABOUT THE JOB
The Directs Store Delivery Associate helps coordinate incoming deliveries and supports the receiving area with accurate processing, documentation, and safe handling procedures. You’ll work with store leadership and receiving teams to help resolve discrepancies, secure high-value items, and maintain strong standards for inventory control and backdoor operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Secure high-ticket merchandise in designated locations and follow control procedures.
- Process direct and local shipments promptly, including incoming deliveries and trailer receiving tasks.
- Support and guide other associates on receiving procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Maintain an organized receiving area by preparing returns, claims, and documentation for shipment.
- Follow safe work practices when using equipment such as pallet jacks, ladders, and box cutters.
- Work with leaders to identify and resolve delivery discrepancies or operational issues.
- Help safeguard backdoor and key controls to support asset protection and compliance.
- Support cold chain compliance by completing required receiving logs and quality checks when applicable.
