ABOUT THE JOB
The Asset Protection Associate is responsible for supporting store security operations and contributing to loss prevention efforts. This position includes conducting patrols, monitoring safety procedures, and assisting with investigations related to financial and physical shrink. The role requires professionalism, strong communication skills, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform regular facility patrols and verify that doors, showcases, and security systems are functioning properly.
- Support loss prevention investigations involving internal and external incidents.
- Communicate findings to store leadership and, when required, to market-level loss prevention teams.
- Assist with emergency procedures, including evacuation protocols when necessary.
- Collaborate with store teams to maintain a secure shopping environment.
- Participate in investigations related to organized retail crime or internal policy violations in accordance with company guidelines.
- Document incidents accurately and maintain clear professional communication across departments.
- Take on additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.
