ABOUT THE JOB
As a Produce Stocker at Walmart in Halifax, you will support daily sales floor operations by stocking fresh produce, rotating products, and ensuring items are properly priced and displayed. You’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and customer-ready department while following company policies related to food handling, sanitation, and health and safety.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Zone and organize the produce department to maintain a clean and appealing layout.
- Perform stock rotation and remove expired or damaged products.
- Ensure produce items are properly signed and priced.
- Follow food safety and handling procedures, including sanitation and cleaning standards.
- Adhere to cold-chain and product rotation guidelines where applicable.
- Support processes such as ordering, clearance, markdowns, and product labeling.
- Keep the department fully stocked and ready for business.
- Comply with all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
