ABOUT THE JOB
As a Bakery Wrapper at Costco in Halifax, you will support daily bakery operations by wrapping, labeling, and stocking baked goods. The role involves working with bakery equipment, following food safety procedures, monitoring product freshness, and ensuring bakery displays remain well-stocked and appealing to members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wrap, label, and package bakery products by hand or using wrapping equipment.
- Apply garnishes, icing, or glaze to baked goods following Costco standards.
- Weigh and label products accurately to ensure consistency and quality.
- Monitor product freshness and rotate stock based on pull dates.
- Move bakery items using carts, racks, or wheeled equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized wrapping and sales area.
- Provide friendly member service and assist with product inquiries.
- Follow food safety, health, and safety procedures at all times.
