ABOUT THE JOB
As a Food Service Assistant at Costco, you will support daily food court operations by preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining clean and safe work areas, and ensuring members receive prompt and friendly service. The position involves hands-on food preparation, stocking supplies, and following established food safety and sanitation standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and serve hot food items such as pizzas, hot dogs, and baked products.
- Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, fryers, and warmers following safety procedures.
- Handle cash transactions, process orders, and provide courteous member service.
- Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, equipment, tables, and dining spaces.
- Stock and rotate ingredients and supplies in coolers, freezers, and storage areas.
- Comply with health, safety, and food sanitation regulations at all times.
- Assist in other warehouse departments when required.
