Costco is currently hiring a Tire Centre Sales Assistant for its warehouse in Gatineau, Quebec. This role supports daily operations at the Tire Centre, assisting members with tire purchases, appointments, and services while delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Tire Centre Sales Assistant helps members select tires, schedules service appointments, prepares invoices, and ensures the sales floor is well organized and stocked. This position involves strong customer interaction, accurate order processing, and close coordination with the Tire Centre team to maintain efficient operations and high service standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist members with tire selection, product information, and service recommendations.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide price quotes.
- Schedule and manage tire service appointments according to procedures.
- Create and process purchase and service invoices.
- Tag, organize, and stock tires on the sales floor.
- Handle payments accurately, including cash, debit, and credit transactions.
- Calculate refunds and warranty returns when required.
- Coordinate with Tire Centre management, inventory, and receiving teams regarding orders and stock.
- Assist with moving vehicles into service bays and parking areas after service.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by following all safety procedures.
- Support propane refills or purchases, where applicable, following certification and safety guidelines.
