Walmart Canada is hiring a Stock Unloader Associate to join its store team in Calgary, AB. This role supports the receiving and unloading process by handling incoming merchandise, maintaining a safe and organized backroom, and helping move products to the salesfloor while providing dependable support to store operations.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Stock Unloader Associate at Walmart, you’ll play an important role in the flow of inventory from delivery to the store floor. You will help unload trailers, sort and stage merchandise, support cold-chain handling for refrigerated/frozen items, and assist with overnight processing when needed. This position is well-suited to individuals who enjoy physical work, teamwork, and following clear safety procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and reset the receiving area to support daily operations.
- Unload and sort merchandise from delivery trailers safely and efficiently.
- Complete the unloading process by moving remaining freight to the appropriate staging areas.
- Maintain proper cold chain handling for refrigerated and frozen receiving and stocking.
- Move pallets of merchandise to the salesfloor for processing and stocking.
- Assist with stocking tasks on the salesfloor and provide customer support when required.
- Label and place overstock merchandise in designated locations following store standards.
- Support a safe workplace by following company policies, completing safety checks/logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures remain secure.
