Walmart is hiring a Consumables Associate in Brampton, Ontario. This role supports the day-to-day flow of merchandise from the backroom to the sales floor, helping customers find what they need while keeping the consumables area stocked, organized, and ready for business.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Consumables Associate at Walmart, you’ll work as part of a team to stock and process merchandise, maintain strong salesfloor standards, and assist customers with product questions and shopping needs. You’ll help ensure shelves are full, displays are maintained, and the area remains safe, clean, and customer-friendly in Brampton.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service on the sales floor.
- Assist customers by locating merchandise and supporting purchase decisions.
- Stock, rotate, and replenish consumables to maintain high on-shelf availability.
- Maintain salesfloor presentation by removing damaged or out-of-date goods and setting up displays.
- Ensure products are properly signed, priced, and labeled.
- Support proper handling of claims and returns and identify potential shrink risks when needed.
- Receive and stock merchandise, using appropriate equipment and completing required paperwork/logs.
- Downstock/pick merchandise as needed and complete modular updates, including flex modulars and shelf cap changes.
