Costco is currently hiring a Stocker to join its warehouse team in Quebec City. This hands-on role is essential to keeping the warehouse organized, well-stocked, and clean while providing excellent member service in a fast-paced retail environment.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Stocker position at Costco focuses on maintaining high merchandising standards throughout the warehouse. This role involves stocking and straightening merchandise, preparing products for display, and ensuring aisles remain clean and safe. Stockers also assist members on the sales floor and support overall warehouse operations as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stock, align, and maintain merchandise to ensure high product availability.
- Clear and clean warehouse aisles, removing debris, cardboard, and empty pallets.
- Move and position merchandise using manual pallet jacks and approved equipment.
- Prepare products for display by cutting boxes, shrink-wrapping items, and wrapping pallets.
- Create and place product signage, ensuring accurate pricing and item identification.
- Operate equipment such as cardboard balers and trash compactors.
- Assist members by answering questions, helping load large items, and directing them to products.
- Follow all safety, security, and warehouse procedures.
- Support other areas of the warehouse as required.
