ABOUT THE JOB
The Marketing Road Representative works directly with food service businesses, convenience stores, and professional offices within the assigned market area. This position plays a key role in increasing Costco Business Centre sales by developing partnerships, promoting membership programs, and supporting members with product solutions and services. The role involves frequent in-person and phone interactions, requiring strong communication and organizational skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively canvass businesses in person and by phone to promote Costco memberships and sales.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with current and prospective business members.
- Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate Costco products and services.
- Support walk-in and delivery sales initiatives.
- Assist the Membership Area Manager with marketing and sales plans.
- Guide members in using online ordering tools and suggest relevant products.
- Track member interactions, sales activity, and campaigns using CRM systems.
- Participate in community events, trade shows, and local business meetings.
- Provide excellent member service while addressing concerns with professionalism and discretion.
- Comply with safety, security, and operational procedures.
