ABOUT THE JOB
As a Delivery Driver at Costco, you will be responsible for operating a commercial delivery truck equipped with air brakes and hydraulic lift systems. The position involves delivering merchandise to members’ businesses, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and completing all required paperwork while following strict safety and traffic regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate a commercial delivery truck to transport merchandise to members’ locations.
- Perform safety inspections of the truck and cargo before and after routes.
- Load and unload merchandise using pallet jacks, dollies, and hydraulic lifts.
- Verify invoices and ensure accurate delivery of items and quantities.
- Obtain required signatures and payments from members.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service during deliveries.
- Handle returns, damaged goods, and related documentation as required.
- Complete and submit daily paperwork, including route sheets and manifests.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and other fleet department tasks as needed.
