ABOUT THE JOB
As a Baker at Costco, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a wide range of bakery products using Costco-approved formulas. The role involves working with industrial baking equipment, handling large quantities of ingredients, and ensuring all products meet strict quality, safety, and consistency standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and bake bakery products following established Costco formulas and procedures.
- Measure, assemble, and mix large quantities of ingredients accurately.
- Operate industrial bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, dough rollers, and depositors.
- Shape, cut, and handle dough for breads and pastries, transferring products through each production stage.
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure product quality.
- Maintain sanitation standards, food safety compliance, and proper product dating.
- Follow health, safety, and security procedures at all times.
- Provide courteous member service and assist with other bakery duties as needed.
