ABOUT THE JOB
As a Baker at Costco, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a wide variety of high-volume bakery items following established formulas and procedures. The position involves working with industrial baking equipment, monitoring ovens, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and bake bakery products according to established formulas and production requirements.
- Operate and monitor industrial mixers, ovens, and bakery equipment.
- Measure, mix, and combine ingredients accurately to ensure product consistency.
- Shape, cut, and process dough for breads and pastries.
- Monitor baking times and transfer finished products to cooling areas.
- Maintain sanitation, temperature controls, and food safety standards.
- Follow department procedures to ensure quality control and compliance.
- Provide courteous member service when required.
- Assist with additional bakery or warehouse duties as needed.
