ABOUT THE JOB
The Stock Unloader Associate plays a vital role in Walmart’s receiving and inventory operations. This position involves unloading trailers, processing merchandise, and preparing products for the sales floor. Associates help ensure merchandise is handled correctly, cold chain standards are respected, and store areas remain organized and hazard-free.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and reset the receiving area for incoming merchandise.
- Unload and sort general merchandise from delivery trailers.
- Complete live unloading of remaining merchandise efficiently.
- Maintain cold chain standards for refrigerated and frozen products.
- Move pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for processing.
- Assist with stocking shelves and provide customer service when required.
- Label and organize overstock merchandise appropriately.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following company safety policies and completing safety logs.
