ABOUT THE JOB
The Food Service Assistant supports daily operations in the Costco food court by preparing menu items, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting members with their orders. This position plays an important role in ensuring food safety, quality standards, and a positive member experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and cook food items such as pizzas, hot dogs, and other menu products following established procedures.
- Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, fryers, and warming units safely and efficiently.
- Serve members promptly and courteously at the counter and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas, dining spaces, and equipment.
- Restock ingredients and supplies from storage areas, coolers, and freezers.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards, including temperature control and product rotation.
- Assist in other warehouse areas when required.
