ABOUT THE JOB
As a Bakery Wrapper at Costco, you will be responsible for finishing and packaging bakery products for sale. This includes garnishing, wrapping, labeling, and stocking items while maintaining a clean and organized work area. The role supports daily bakery production and helps ensure members receive fresh, high-quality products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Remove baked goods from containers and apply garnishes, icing, or glaze following Costco procedures.
- Wrap and package bakery items by hand or using wrapping equipment.
- Assemble packaging materials such as pre-cut cardboard boxes.
- Weigh and label products accurately, removing defective or non-compliant items.
- Move bakery products using wheeled racks as required.
- Stock and rotate products in the bakery sales area, monitoring pull dates and freshness.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in wrapping and sales areas.
- Provide courteous member service and assist members when needed.
- Support other bakery or warehouse tasks as required.
