ABOUT THE JOB
As a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart, you will support the Pharmacy Manager in overseeing pharmacy operations while providing personalized care to patients. The role involves prescription management, patient consultations, and ensuring pharmacy services are delivered accurately, efficiently, and safely.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Pharmacy Manager with daily pharmacy operations
- Accept and process prescriptions and refill requests from customers and healthcare providers
- Ensure prescriptions are filled accurately and safely following established workflows
- Counsel patients on prescribed and over-the-counter medications
- Maintain proper storage of pharmaceutical products
- Deliver eligible pharmacy services such as medication reviews and injections
- Operate pharmacy equipment and systems while ensuring patient privacy
- Comply with provincial regulations, SOPs, and company policies
