ABOUT THE JOB
As a Member Service Assistant at Costco, you will be one of the first and last points of contact for members. Your responsibilities include greeting members, verifying memberships, conducting safety checks, and assisting with exit procedures. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming environment while ensuring loss prevention and warehouse safety standards are met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet members, verify membership cards, and manage entry counts.
- Conduct regular safety and security checks throughout the warehouse and perimeter.
- Maintain clean and organized entrance and exit areas.
- Check member receipts at exit and assist with corrections when needed.
- Provide courteous and prompt service, directing members to products and services.
- Monitor warehouse access and report suspicious activity following procedures.
- Assist with cart handling and support front-end operations as required.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and management regarding safety concerns.
