ABOUT THE JOB
As a Baker at Costco, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a high volume of bakery products using established formulas and procedures. The position involves operating industrial baking equipment, handling large ingredient quantities, and ensuring all products meet quality, safety, and consistency standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, measure, and combine large quantities of ingredients according to Costco recipes.
- Operate industrial mixers, ovens, and bakery equipment to produce baked goods.
- Roll, cut, and shape dough for breads and pastries.
- Monitor baking processes, temperatures, and baking times to ensure product quality.
- Transfer products to cooling racks and assist with automated dough processes.
- Maintain sanitation, food safety, and health code compliance at all times.
- Follow established production procedures to ensure consistency.
- Provide courteous member service when required.
- Support other bakery or warehouse tasks as needed.
