Walmart is hiring a Produce Stocker (5AM–11PM) to join its team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This role focuses on keeping the produce department fully stocked, fresh, and well-organized while delivering a positive customer experience during early daytime hours.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Produce Stocker at Walmart, you will be responsible for stocking fresh produce, rotating inventory, and ensuring accurate pricing and signage. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to food safety and cold chain standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Zone and maintain the produce department to company standards.
- Rotate stock and monitor expiration and sell-by dates.
- Ensure products are properly priced, signed, and labeled.
- Follow cold chain compliance, temperature checks, and food handling procedures.
- Adhere to sanitation, cleaning, and health and safety guidelines.
- Keep the department fully stocked and ready for business.
- Downstock merchandise and complete modular and shelf setups when required.
- Apply product protection and maintain a clean, organized work area.
