The Dairy / Frozen Associate position at Walmart Canada in Calgary, Alberta is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in retail while working in a temperature-controlled food environment. ABOUT THE JOB
As a Dairy / Frozen Associate, you will be responsible for zoning the department, rotating stock, checking expiration dates, and ensuring all products are properly signed and priced. You will follow Walmart’s food safety, cold chain, and sanitation standards to maintain product quality and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Zone and maintain the Dairy and Frozen departments.
- Rotate stock and regularly check for expired products.
- Ensure merchandise is properly signed, priced, and displayed.
- Follow cold chain compliance standards, including temperature recording and thermometer calibration.
- Adhere to food safety, food handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
- Follow procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and product labeling.
- Maintain department features and product presentation.
- Keep the area clean, organized, and free of debris, foreign objects, and spills.
PAY INFORMATION
The minimum hourly rate for this position starts at $16.15 per hour. The final rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
