ABOUT THE JOB
As a Grocery Associate, you will be responsible for keeping the grocery area organized, well-stocked, and ready for customers. You will follow Walmart’s food safety, merchandising, and health & safety standards while supporting daily store operations and sales activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Zone and maintain the grocery department to ensure a clean and organized appearance.
- Rotate stock and regularly check for expired products.
- Ensure merchandise is properly signed, labeled, and priced.
- Follow food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
- Execute proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markdowns, and pricing.
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked and the department is ready for business.
- Comply with Health and Safety guidelines at all times.
- Stock merchandise, pick items when required, apply product protection, and set modular displays and shelf caps.
PAY INFORMATION
The minimum hourly rate for this position starts at $16.15 per hour. The final rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
