Walmart Canada is currently hiring a Produce Stocker for its store located in Burnaby, BC. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment while ensuring high standards of freshness, safety, and customer service within the produce department.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Produce Stocker at Walmart, you will be responsible for maintaining the produce area by stocking shelves, rotating products, ensuring accurate pricing, and following food safety and cold chain procedures. This position plays a key role in delivering a clean, organized, and fully stocked department for customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Zone and maintain the produce department to company standards.
- Rotate stock and regularly check for expired or damaged products.
- Ensure merchandise is properly signed, priced, and labeled.
- Follow cold chain compliance, including temperature recording and thermometer calibration.
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
- Order products and perform clearance, markdowns, and pricing updates when required.
- Keep the department fully stocked and ready for business.
- Follow Health and Safety guidelines at all times.
- Stock merchandise, complete down-stocking when applicable, and apply product protection as required.
- Set and complete modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
