ABOUT THE JOB
The Tire Centre Sales Assistant plays a key role in supporting daily operations at Costco’s Tire Centre. You will help members choose the right tires, prepare invoices for purchases and services, coordinate appointments, and ensure merchandise is properly stocked and displayed. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy retail setting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist members with tire selection and product recommendations using a consultative sales approach.
- Create purchase and service invoices and provide accurate price quotes.
- Manage and coordinate service appointments, including special orders.
- Process payments, handle refunds, and ensure accurate cash and transaction handling.
- Stock and organize tires and related merchandise according to department standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe Tire Centre area, including sweeping and general upkeep.
- Support installation operations and assist with vehicle flow when required.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including propane services where applicable and certified.
