ABOUT THE JOB
The Service Deli Clerk is responsible for preparing and packaging a variety of deli products, including salads, entrées, party trays, and rotisserie items. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and assemble salads, meals, party trays, pizzas, and other deli products according to standardized recipes.
- Cook and handle rotisserie items, including chicken and ribs, using commercial ovens and equipment.
- Package, label, and weigh products accurately while ensuring pricing and display standards are met.
- Monitor food quality and safety, including temperature logs, sanitation practices, and product rotation.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and preparation areas, following health and safety guidelines.
- Operate department equipment safely and perform basic preventive maintenance and cleaning.
- Provide friendly and efficient member service, answering questions and assisting with product selection.
- Track production and inventory levels and complete required documentation and sanitation checklists.
