ABOUT THE JOB

As a Restaurant Assistant Manager at Tim Hortons, you will assist in managing key areas of the restaurant’s day-to-day performance. This position also includes administrative responsibilities, supporting schedules, compliance, and ongoing improvement initiatives to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and consistently meets Tim Hortons standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Restaurant Manager with daily operations to ensure excellent guest service and smooth shift execution.
  • Help lead, train, mentor, and coach team members to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Assist with ordering and inventory processes to maintain proper stock levels and reduce shortages.
  • Monitor and help manage key costs (such as food and paper) and support budgeting activities.
  • Maintain high standards for cleanliness, product quality, and restaurant presentation.
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and help resolve issues to protect the guest experience.
  • Support administrative tasks such as audits, documentation, and follow-up actions as needed.
  • Assist with staffing and scheduling processes to ensure appropriate coverage during peak periods.

  • Contribute ideas and improvements to enhance operations, reduce waste, and strengthen performance.
