Dollarama is hiring an experienced Assistant Store Manager for its retail location in Gatineau, Quebec. This leadership role supports daily store operations and helps ensure the team delivers an efficient, organized, and customer-focused shopping experience.

ABOUT THE JOB

As an Assistant Store Manager at Dollarama in Gatineau, you will work closely with the Store Manager to oversee day-to-day retail activities. In the absence of the Store Manager, you will act as the Manager on Duty, ensuring company policies are followed, inventory is managed accurately, and merchandising standards are consistently applied.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations.
  • Act as Manager on Duty when required and provide leadership to store associates.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are clearly communicated and followed.
  • Oversee inventory counts to maintain proper stock levels and timely replenishment.
  • Maintain established merchandising standards across the store.
  • Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees.
