ABOUT THE JOB
As a Merchandise Receiver at Tim Hortons, you will be responsible for receiving, verifying, and organizing incoming deliveries while ensuring compliance with food safety, storage standards, and operational procedures. You will also support general restaurant operations and help maintain a clean and safe work environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and verify all incoming merchandise, including food products, supplies, and equipment.
- Ensure proper storage and rotation (FIFO) of products.
- Monitor and record product temperatures according to safety standards.
- Report any delivery discrepancies or issues to management.
- Prepare receiving areas and assist with recycling and waste management.
- Support restaurant cleanliness, including cleaning tasks when required.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Safely handle physical tasks, including lifting heavy items and using stairs.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and use protective equipment when required.
